Web-o-Mat.net is deeply committed to protecting the privacy of Internet users in general and our Customers in particular. Accordingly we strictly adhere to industry guidelines regarding Privacy and will continue to review and revise our policy and procedures to ensure the safety and protection of your information.

This Privacy Policy reflects our commitment to our Customers and Visitors.

Our Commitment

1. PERSONAL DATA COLLECTION
We collect certain personally identifiable information from our customers as a condition of setting up a Hosting Plan and/or when specific types of support requests are made in order to protect your account. We use this information only for purposes of verifying identity, recordkeeping and billing/payment processing.

Further, Web-o-mat.net may store electronic or paper communication, information on your account status, choice of service, logs and/or system backups in the normal course of conducting business.

2. USE OF COOKIES AND AUTOMATIC LOGGING OF IP ADDRESSES
Web-o-Mat may log your IP address or implement the use of cookies in certain areas of this Website or with regard to your account, for instance during the Account Login Process, during the Order process or as a function of Forum or Community use.

IP Addresses are used for security purposes in establishing identity during Account Setup and may be used for purposes of diagnosing problems with our server(s) or administring our Website.

Some areas of this Website use Cookies, such as Forums, Communities and the Help Desk, to remember your information the next time you visit the area. Use or deletion of such Cookies from your computer system is left to your discretion. In any event information collected and stored in Cookies related to this Website falls under the aegis of this Policy.

Web-o-Mat.net may, from time to time, use third party advertising on this Website. Please be advised that any Cookies created by clicking on third party advertising banners are collected by those parties and not under the control of Web-o-Mat.net nor the aegis of this Policy.

This Website, its Forums, Communities, Help Desk or other support areas may contain links to other sites. Web-o-Mat.net is not responsible for the content, products, services, intent or privacy practices of such sites. However, if you feel that a site link leads to a site where your privacy is flagrantly violated or is otherwise highly offensive, please let us know so that we may review that site link for continued suitability and use.

5. USE OF FORUMS OR COMMUNITIES
Please use caution and common sense when posting your personal information to any public or closed forum or community, whether hosted at Web-o-Mat.net or elsewhere on the Internet. Personal Information posted in those arenas is not subject to this Privacy Policy and is beyond the control & protection of Web-o-Mat.net, its officers or employees.

Due to the nature of such forums and/or communities, the opinions or views expressed in those arenas are not necessarily the opinions or views of Web-o-Mat.net, it's officers or employees.

6. SECURITY MEASURES
Web-o-Mat has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and/or alteration of any information under our control. However, with regard to Passwords you are urged to change them regularly to prevent unauthorized use, and to take care with regard to where you write them down or with whom you share them. Share them?! We realize you may need to share the password to your account with a member of your support staff, a spouse, significant other or child under certain circumstances. While this is up to you, we ask is that you use some discretion and maintain good password security practices.

7. USE OF COLLECTED DATA
Web-o-Mat.net will never share your information with third parties unless required to by law or as part of the Account Setup process, as in credit card verification.

Web-o-Mat may use your contact information to advise you of significant changes to policies, provide warnings related to abuse of such policies, to communicate with you about problems with your account or to provide other notice as may be required by law. Because of the nature of these types of contact we do not offer you an opt-out option -- failure to receive this information could result in loss of service. However, any other mailings which Web-o-Mat offers to its Customers and Visitors will be via Opt-in Service only and subject to our Spam Abuse Policy.

8. MODIFYING YOUR INFORMATION
Customers may have their personal information modified by using the applicable option on the Control Panel for their Account, or by sending email to: support[at]web-o-mat.net (replace the [at] with @).

9. OTHER DISCLOSURE
Web-o-Mat.net will not otherwise disclose your personal and/or account information unless it has reason to believe that disclosing such is necessary to identify, make contact with, or bring legal action against someone who may be causing harm or interfering with the rights and/or property of others, or where Web-o-Mat.net has a good faith belief that the law requires such disclosure.

Web-o-Mat.net will not disclose the contents of any electronic or written communication that Web-o-Mat.net stores or transmits for its Customers other than for these reasons:

(a) The customer has requested such disclosure;

(b) It is necessary in order to provide service to the customer, at Web-o-Mat's sole discretion;

(c) It is required to cooperate with interception orders, warrants or other legal instruments and processes that Web-o-Mat.net, at its sole discretion and in a good faith belief, determines to be valid and enforceable;

(d) It is necessary to provide to a law enforcement agency when the contents are inadvertently received or obtained by Web-o-Mat.net and appear to pertain to the commission of a crime, including but not limited to hate crimes or terrorism.

10. CENSORSHIP AND SURVEILLANCE
Web-o-Mat.net strongly supports the Right to Free Speech on the Internet. We also strongly believe that the Internet should be a safe place for minors. In order to balance the two, we have chosen to prohibit the use of any Web-o-Mat service, including but not limited to the use of public or restricted forums and/or communities, for purposes of:

(a) Storing, displaying or transmitting an Warez Software;

(b) Sharing MP3 files or other multimedia files for which you do not own the rights (a la a P2P network);

(d) Promoting the abuse of spouses, children or animals;

(e) Storing, displaying or transmitting Obscene and/or Adult Content.

Web-o-Mat.net reserves the right to determine at its sole discretion what is considered illegal or obscene for this stated purpose.

Therefore, the use of any Web-o-Mat service to make illegal, hate-filled or obscene content available via electronic transmission, display or storage of such material on a Web-o-Mat.net server is prohibited. Web-o-Mat.net appreciates your right to store, display and/or transmit some, if not all, of the above materials; it just won't happen here. Fortunately there are many forums and/or hosting services on the Internet that do not prohibit these materials or content; while we hate to lose your custom, we wish you the best in finding a more suitable forum or host for your material.

While we disclaim any intent to censor, edit or engage in surveillance of forums, communities, sites and /or related materials hosted or stored on our servers, we reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to suspend and/or terminate access and/or accounts without notice if found in violation of this policy.

Web-o-Mat.net disclaims any intention to censor, edit, review or engage in surveillance of communication stored or transmitted through its facilities by Customers or others. Web-o-Mat.net will, however, review, delete, or block access to communications or website content that may harm Web-o-Mat.net, its customers or third parties. The grounds for such action may include, but is not limited to, actual or potential violations of Web-o-Mat's published Policies or applicable local, state, federal, foreign or international law.
